HDR, Again

I think a lot about HDR for someone that really doesn't do HDR that much. So far, I still like to do my HDR with Photoshop layers, but when they get natural-looking, pain free HDR worked out (in the camera or in the software, or -- hopefully -- both) I'll be happy. Photoshop CS4 still looks flat compared to doing the same work on layers inside Photoshop (since I have the tool open anyway, I might as well use the best practice).

I think I'm going to give Photomatix a try again. It looks to me like this is still the best tool available. The latest changes seem like it's getting better. I will post the results if I like them.

This festival is held every year in Grant park. He performed on 6/13/09 on the "Front Porch Stage" with "Nolan Struck with King Edward and special guests."

I just got back from the Chicago Bluesfest. The performances were wonderful this year -- varied, each with their own apeal and energy. I hope to add more about this later. Pictured, is Harmonica Hinds who was playing with Eddie Taylor Junior on the Mississippi Juke Joint stage.
