Nice Video Here About Brian Duffy

If you've seen his work at all in the past (until recently when his son took charge of assembling salvaged negatives for a 2009 show), it's probably in a very comprehensive magazine compilation book or in original magazines from the 60s and 70s.

In the 70s, Duffy burned most of negatives in defiance to the commercial world (specifically, an assignment to shoot toilet paper set him over the edge), and stopped photographing entirely. He was once one of the young upstart stars of photography who helped to define the new London fashion and commercial photography scene in 60s, together with Bailey, and Donovan...the three of them were coined as the black trio.
